It's certainly not a direct match, and an admittedly low bar; but if you had to make the politics of Jesus correspond most closely with a credible thought stream in West, it might be called Pro-Life Progressivism. So the movement can expect both increased resistance and popularity in the coming days and months...
A Three-Way Race really changes the math a lot...Kanye's run really starts looking like the exact opposite of a joke when you consider we already know this election will be a nightmare, or if there is no election on November 3. Done right, President Kanye in 2024 is a "lock," especially with a "VP Mike Pence!"
KANYE, keep running as robustly as possible for the White House in 2020. Will we have elections on Nov. 3? Might the Supreme Court throw out the results and say that you have to be on the ballot? Things are going to get worse, not better if you don't WIN in 2024...Period end/hard stop. You will NOT regret it!
IF THE APPROVAL RATE OF CONGRESS IS IN THE SINGLE DIGITS, HOW IS IT THAT NINE OUT OF TEN OF THEM WILL BE RE-ELECTED?!?
Kanye: Progressivism needs a new Savior. since Bernie couldn't quite do it. But there aren't enough to win a National election. But if you are Pro-Life, that is a coalition that can reach 270 .
If Trump wins, the Progressive agenda is D.O.A. If Biden wins, he or Kamala will get re-elected. That's 8 years of being smugly oppressed by the Dems as much as the other party! KANYE: Cast the Vision!
They aren't going to be mainstream Republican, as Trump has been training them to reject those folks for years..Would they rally around Pence? Probably, but not passionately. KANYE: Cast The Vision!
There's also the "best kept secret" in the voting bloc which'll get your numbers where they need to be.
Having three parties in the race changes the math. Really, really changes it. You'll start with 15 percent, 20 in some areas. To double that isn't difficult with a platform that credibly pacifies both Pro-Lifers and Progressives. Over fifty percent isn't impossible. You can have a LANDSLIDE with just 38-39 percent!
Progressives have to admit that--even if they personally believe otherwise--getting rid of the very rare late-term partial birth abortions isn't the "end of the world" as far as priority in their agenda.
Pro-Lifers--even if they personally disagreed--could vote for a platform that profoundly preserved the right to get an abortion in the extremely rare cases of rape, incest, or if the life of the mother is in danger. After all, even if in their wildest dreams, and they packed the Supreme Court, any ruling getting rid of Roe would certainly still contain those "loopholes." And you know it...
That's a good starting point. There are many ways the Progressive platform can be tweaked to be "Pro-Life in a more wholistic manner. (It's still abortion to drop a bomb on a pregnant woman, for instance, so becoming less militaristic saves lives; as does addressing climate change, if it is a truly existential crisis. And making the termination of pregnancy very rare, but very safe in the cases of "medical necessity," is a goal both parties should be able to creatively work towards.
Pro-Life Progressivism, if both the Pro-Life and Progressive elements were very robust, will win everywhere. The full agenda can be passed. The Country will finally change for the good, and the political gridlock will be broken by Pro-Life Progressives.
Republicans will never "get rid" of abortion, because if Pro-Lifers didn't feel obligated to vote for them, there is almost no election they can win, even in relatively "red" areas. Progressives have NO shot in the next decade, of having their agenda passed. But joining with the Pro-Life movement could easily make Progressives the party in power, and would do so NOW!
But you have to run, Kanye...You must run!

First, we nominated Andrew Yang. When he got out, we switched to Bernie. When Kanye jumped in, and we enthusiastically endorsed him from Day One! However, we made a pledge to Trump that if he nominated Amy Coney Barrett for The Supreme Court, we'd endorse him. So we did. Trump 2020!
